I am happy you got a good hospital for your residency, Nafeh. Katrina, I don't know how in the world you did it. You take the term supermom to new heights. Google maps says Cincinnati is 382 miles of solid interstate from Huntsville. That's not so far. - Carolyn Wolfe (Tuesday 25th of March 2008, 09:57:06 PM) Congratulations to both of your!
I remember one parent had told me Nafeh was such a good Bahai teacher in our Nashville Sunday school. I had hoped after Ching Ching grew up, she would be in your class.
I will miss you and best wish to you and your babies! - Gretchen (Tuesday 25th of March 2008, 08:46:17 AM) Congrats to both! Will I see you before you move?? - Firas (Friday 21st of March 2008, 10:43:56 AM) Happy Naw-Ruz to all of you and much congrads toKatrina for passing her exam. - Amir & Fruz (Thursday 20th of March 2008, 04:50:08 PM) Congratulations to the both of you!!!! You both have worked very hard and now you are seeing the results of doing so. I wish you both the very best with your move but when do you have to be in Cincinnati? Getting to explore a new town and a new Baháí community will be exciting for you guys. Have Fun! Love, Ginger & Butch - Ginger Fuller (Thursday 20th of March 2008, 03:00:17 PM) | Katrina's Exam, Match Day, etc. Two news items to report:
1. Katrina passed her nurse practitioner certification exam yesterday morning
2. I matched in pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's hospital this morning
We are, of course, very excited about both pieces of news. Cincinnati is a great city for raising children, has many opportunities for Katrina to begin working as a nurse practitioner, and has a wonderful pediatrics program and Children's hospital that serves a large area and is a terrific place to train. We are sad, of course, to be further away from family...but we'll make the effort to travel as much as possible.
Katrina's passing her certification exam was an admirable feat... She spent the past couple of months squeezing in hours of study between babies needing feeding, to be put to bed, and her own lack of sleep. To learn more about what she is now certified in, the following link is helpful:

For me, pediatrics residency training is another three years. Cincinnati Children's is a very good place to train in pediatrics, and the faculty and residents are very nice. I was very excited, and feel very fortunate, to match there. To learn more about the training program, the following link is helpful:

I hope everyone is doing well, and we will be in touch again soon once we have a sense of our new contact information. Much love...
